Why did you become a Caregiver? My mother lost about 70% of her stomach from cancer and was in need of a Caregiver. I decided to quit my job at the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office and become her full-time Caregiver. What do you like about being a Caregiver? Clients really appreciate the service I provide for them. What is a personal achievement you are proud of? Putting my personal needs and wants aside to take care of my mother during a time when she was at her lowest point (emotionally, physically, mentally & financially), due to cancer. Tell us something about yourself. -I have seven years of experience as an Elderly Caregiver (Dementia, Alzheimer's disease, Cancer, Hepatitis B & C, and other medical conditions). -I am Honest, friendly, and very compassionate with all my clients. I know how important it is to focus on helping my clients use the skills they currently possess and to be patient with any limitations they have. -I am a military wife, mom of 4 adult children, and 2 grandchildren. I'm also a part-time student at Florida State College of Jacksonville.

I am a caring person I love to make indaviduals feel better I feel that it is my responsability to treat others as a normal persona even though they might need further asistance

I became a care giver because when my father got sick I stayed to take care him. See them being happy cause some else is there to help them makes me happy. Becoming a medical assistant. Im dependable person im always on time you call me no matter what.

I have been a caregiver - to either male or female - for 7 years now and can provide you references to prove that I am reliable, patient , hardworking, honest and can also do housekeeping. I also have background when it comes to medication administration, lifting, bathing and physical therapy as I have always been entrusted by the families I have worked for. I can perform bathing, changing clothes, feeding and even cooking. I can also commit for 7 days/week/live-in. I have worked for people with dementia, Alzheimer's, stroke, cancer, 24 hr O2 administration and even just the simple companionship.
