What attracts me of being a caregiver is I'm a vary love able person and this is my passion to help elder people. I want to become a CNA. The most thing I enjoy the most is taking care of my patients/residents and make sure they get the proper care

What makes me a great caregiver is that I am good listener, easy to talk to, and patient. The passion for helping others that can't care for themselves attracted me to being a caregiver. What I enjoy most about being a caregiver is making their day, keeping them company. A personal achievement I am proud of is being a CNA because family members told me I would not last.

Hello my name is Latoya and I have been a caregiver for 7 years. I love taking care of people especially if they can no longer do it themselves. Helping and encouraging them to be mobile if possible while listening and engaging conversation on topics that are most important to them. I have knowledge of and experience with Senior care in different environments such as one-on-one home health/companionship, retirement homes, and assisted living facilities. I am trained in a broad range of dynamics pertaining to but not limited to special needs. Intense hands-on training and focus in providing care for m.h.m.r/disabled/dementia/Alzheimer’s, and disease debilitating patients. I am trained C.N.A and I know how to use proper technique for transfer/ambulation to those that are physically challenged, and have mobility/barriers. Further knowledge includes use of basic lifting, Hoyer lift, and gate belts for those who are prone to falls. I do believe in charting the progress of my patients so that their family, physician's and loved one's can keep up with their every day care and any changes that may occur. I am professional and honor confidentiality. I have a current driver's license and automobile insurance. I am a non-smoker and prefer to work in a non-smoking environment, and I am comfortable working in a home who has pets as long as they do not bite. I have training in incontinence care and able to change adult briefs.

I became a caregiver because at the age of 15 i was the one who always felt bad for my grandfather because he couldn't do thing's for his self so i stayed at home with him took care of him until the day that he pass i love careing for somebody else it make me feel awesome so i felt then that's what i wanted to do at a early age. I like being a caregiver because meeting new people, laughter , and knowing someone need's me. I am proud of my achievement of a job well done i honor what i do and take it very seriously. Iam 34 years old i have 2 kid's 17 and 6 year old iam a single parent i love my kid's they give me life iam a hard worker i have been a caregiver for 15 year's now i've gotten my certification in 2001 and i just love what i do.

I became a caregiver when my mother became ill, after she passed away I stayed in the field, I have been a caregiver for 9+ years, I have a certificate for CPR, Caregiver, Hospice care, Covid and Cancer patient care, I am currently studying CNA and doing refresher courses for CMA to be re-certified. I work with Alzhimer and Dementia patients, Hospice patients, Total care patients and i have also been a live in caregiver. I love gardening, all types of music...music gets the soul moving and I believe it should be in everyone's life. My hourly wage starts at $15.25 and up, depending on the care and needs of the client it may change.
