I love helping people who cannot help them selves. Love to make a difference in people. It's a joy to me to put a smile on there faces every day. And see them getting back on there feet, enjoying living in there homes. I like being care giver because i create a great relationship by doing my best care to our dear ones.I always keep my job for years with residents and get them back on there feet.I have a high references from Families and lots of friends. Well about me, I'm 45 years old. married with three children, I've worked as a care give for 12 years.And what makes me a great care giver. Respect other, Responsible,keep privacy for my clients, keep all records of ADL, kind,loving,And etc.

I became a caregiver when I had to take care of a family member, when her nurses and aides would visit the home I would get offers all the time to join this company and that company and I would decline because I was only taking care of her. Once she passed in 2005 something clicked in me to pursue the career and so I did and I think it was my Aunt Tee Tee telling me to do it and I am so glad I got into nursing. I've touched MANY and MANY have touched me. What do I like about being a caregiver: the opportunity to help where one needs help. What is my personal achievement Im proud of: I had a resident who wouldnt come of her room and when she saw our nurse with her crazy socks she was so excited I suggested the whole unit to wear crazy socks and we will see what would happen when she came out to get her pain meds she was blown away with all of our crazy socks. Eventually I got her to eat in the dinning room just off of wearing crazy socks and her not doing good with change she got use to a small few per shift, her family was shocked because even when she was at home she wouldnt do anything out the room but go to doctor appts since her husband had passed, while she was on our unit we wore crazy socks and she ate all means in dinning room just to watch our socks and soon meet friends. Something about myself: I am a HARD worker and I care how my work reflects on me. I work smart at all times. I love what I do and I appreciate when I make a difference in someone life.

I believe am a great care giver because am emphatic and competent in carrying out my responsibilities.I became a care giver because I enjoy bringing joy in people 's life.What I like about being a care giver is making friends with my residents and experience the joy they derive when I am with them.My personal achievement is job satisfaction at the end of the shift.

I have been an LVN for 8 years, and I have worked with Alzheimer's and dementia , long-term and short-term, hospice and respite patients. Before I was a nurse I was a CNA for over 10 years. I am a caregiver because I want to pay forward the care that my mum received when she was ill.
