I am a great caregiver because of my patience, my compassion for others and my attention to detail. I consider myself a very empathetic individual which makes caring for others that much easier. What made want to take on this opportunity is my great grandmother who is now passed on but while she was here I spent time taking care of her (feeding her, bathing her, entertaining her etc.) So I understand what it's like to have a family member in that situation and how they need proper care to make them comfortable. Mostly I enjoy about being a caregiver is how it makes me feel, knowing I helped someone just brings me a different type of joy. I also enjoy meeting my clients.

I genuinely care for people. My mother had MS and when I was 5 she couldn't 5 and sometimes couldn't see or speak. I had to do everything for her wash cook clean feed her and my younger sister as well. When I was 14 liberty home health taught me how to take care of my mom and started paying me to take care of her. Seeing what my mom went thru is what attracts me to care giving we all are going to need somebody one day and I just pray that when I do I get the same great treatment that I give to those who need it. I enjoy getting to know my clients and doing anything they need me to do as long as my client is great I'm great! I'm proud of not giving up! So many times I couldn't given up or went dow min the wrong path but I didn't go that route! Growing up with a sicken bed ridden parent is hard because you have so much room to really mess up but I choose to do good stay in school and to the right thing. And I finished raising my sister!

I became a care giver because I'm passionate about helping and caring for those in need. I am proud that I had the experience of working in a hospital setting for 3 years as a nursing assistant. The other employees and the patients were amazing and showed me just how fragile life is and how much we take for granite everyday. I am a caring/kind person who is very reliable and a fast learner. I work well under stress and time constraint but most importantly I work well with others. I treat my patients/residence like they're my own family members regardless of gender,race,religion, or circumstance. I believe everyone in a situation in which they require assistance never chose that and should be treated with respect/dignity.
