I am 39 years old, active and healthy. I worked for army for 2 years and am honorably discharged. I have worked for Sears and JC penny as an associate for a few years till . In the last 7 years, I was a live-in nanny for a child from 2 months old till he turned 6 years. During that time, I realized how much I loved taking care of others. I still do babysitting for a 4 year old. I live with my parents since Jan 2005 onwards and help them with housekeeping, grocery shopping and cooking. I am a good driver and never had an accident. I realized I could help elders for their needs like transportation, Meal prep, Groceries and shopping, Housekeeping, Companionship, medical reminders etc.

I like to work and help people. My best friend got sick a few months ago and when I started taking care of her, I realized that this is a route I would like to continue on. It is always nice to meet new people, you always learn from others. Everyone has a story to tell, and I love learning about and assisting others on their journey. I like to think i am very kind and helpful.

I feel that I am a great caregiver because I enjoy helping others who can no longer care for themselves. Working with the elderly has been a true blessing, I care and respect my clients as if they were my own family. Being a helping hand is something that I am very good at, I'am a people person l always try to stay postive I love laughter and smiles the beautiful things in life is what keep me going... what I can offer for your love one is great support and care. I can provide some nutritionist delicious meals, I'm a great cleaner, make sure that meds are taken bath and groom make doctors visits if needed.... I'm a Great helper...

I enjoy caring for senior citizen and making a difference , seeing them smile and happy makes me happy because I'm helping them with their needs and giving them the best care Not just senior citizen I love caring for anyone who has a disability.I am proud of my self that i chose this career as a cna to be able to help and make a difference in today. I have worked in home care only for family and church members. I would love to expand. I am currently in school becoming an esthetician. I've always worked in customer care and retail.

I'm 20 years old very responsible I've been a caregiver for couple months but I've volunteered at local hospitals for various years. I became a caregiver because it helps knowing that I can help others with simple gestures. I'm currently in school to become an RN and then further my career.

I started to do caregiving about a year ago through an internship, at Artesia Christian Home. I have experience in working with clients from doing bathing and feeding etc.. to helping them go grocery shopping or any activities to just being a companion. I got interested in caregiving for a while I would take care of my grandma since I was younger and just hoped someone would be there to take care of me or anyone else when they get older and everyone deserves to have someone there to help.

I am very experienced in child development and have a variety of families I have had the pleasure of watching grow. Ranging from 6 months and up, I have had opportunities babysitting them all. When entering college I actually chose to minor in child development in hopes of bettering my understanding of children and there individual needs. I am very observant and trustworthy.

I've had experience taking good care of my ex-husband who was sickly for how many yrs before till the day he passed. Now that I'm married to my second husband, I'm still taking good care of him because he's partially blind.

I want to become a Caregiver because I want to render care & assist clients & the elderly to still perform their activities of daily living. I want them to feel that they are still functioning as a normal individual regardless of whatever case or disease they have. My personal achievement that I am proud of would be that seeing my patients seeing their smiles at the end of the day. I am a Registered Nurse back in the Philippines & I think I am eligible to give care & fulfill the task of a caregiver, moreover, I really want to serve humanity.

I became a Caregiver in 2001. I simply fell in love with a facility that my Mother in-law had gone to look at. I had already been hired by a communications firm, but decided instead to change my profession. I worked as a Certified Caregiver for 3 years. I then decided to study to become a Certified Nursing Assistant. I took the course through the Red Cross in Prescott. Shortly thereafter, I took my test in Phoenix, AZ and became Licensed. I worked at Yavapai Regional Hospital in Prescott for close to 5 years. I retired when it was necessary to be to have back surgery. Last year I took on the Home Health role for a lady with severe Dementia and cancer. I cared for for her with love and compassion until she passed in late May.

Hi, my name is Brianna Pettigrew. I graduated college in May 2016, from North technical high school. At North Technical high school I participated in the Nursing program, where I earned my CNA, and has 2 years of experience under my belt. Unlike most caregivers I am very passionate about what I do. I put my all into my work and treat others like family. I respect the person and show great characteristics of a great potential nurse. I say potential because I currently attend college in Kansas city, Missouri were I am studying to be a Registered Nurse. I like to treat others as if it were my family I was taking care of.

I have experience working with elderly individuals that have/had mental and or physical disabilities. I am new to the Palm Bay area and relocated from Ohio. Caregiving is what excited me being that I love helping others and being that person someone can rely on in their time of need. I did total live-in caregiving for about 2 years for a patient with Dementia,who was eventually bed-ridden. Recently I stopped in everyday to check on my friend's mother, to make sure she had taken meds and was doing well, I also added Ensure to her diet.
