I need a hands-on care provider with Alzheimer's / Dementia experience for my wife, age 77. I am looking for Respite Care starting with one day a week. My wife is fairly independent, but needs assistance dressing, and occasionally in the bathroom. Assistance with medication may be needed - basically giving her the prescribed pills to take.. Please be willing to do light housekeeping, and prepare lunch.. Some help may be needed with bathing, on occasion. We're looking for someone to provide companionship while I am away from the house running errands, going to appointments, etc.. Preferences for a caregiver who is a non-smoker and comfortable with our Golden Retriever..

Looking to hire a considerate, enthusiastic, and dedicated caregiver to take care of Mother, located near Roanoke, AL. She is going through treatments for kidney cancer which is progressing and a decline in memory. I am in need of help 6 days per week in the morning or early afternoon. Caregiver should be able to start January 3, 4, or 5, 2025 and is expected to work 15 hours per week. Duties and responsibilities of the caregiver will include medication prep, companionship, light housekeeping, transportation (occasionally to MD appts), bathing, transferring & mobility (as needed), and encouragement to eat, stay hydrated, and follow through with PT and OT exercises.
