Galt Caregiver Jobs

Looking for a kind, reliable caregiver to help my 67-year-old mother approximately twice a week (about 5 hours total per week). Mondays and Thursdays are preferred, but we can be flexible with the schedule. She is homebound and uses a walker. She is cognitively alert but needs physical support and encouragement with daily activities. Responsibilities would include helping her shower twice a week, very light housekeeping (she already has a cleaner every two weeks), making sure she is taking her medications and eating, and helping her complete light mobility/PT exercises to maintain her strength and range of motion. She is very amenable to help. She tends to be quite apathetic and unmotivated when she is alone, so she may not initiate things like showering, eating, or doing her exercises on her own. However, she is very cooperative and will generally do whatever is suggested when someone is there to gently encourage and guide her. I’m looking for someone warm and proactive who can provide that structure, keep a watchful eye on her wellbeing, and send me a brief update after visits, as I live in Los Angeles. Her doctor may also prescribe B1 injections in the future, so someone who is qualified and comfortable administering injections would be a plus, but this is not currently required.
