An Experienced Caregiver Needed in Arcata, CA For Mother with dementia
Looking for an experienced and kind female caregiver near Arcata, CA. Ideal candidate could start beginning of 2026 and is looking for a consistent job for the next few years. We need support in the evenings, she currently has 2 caretakers that work from 3-6pm +/- to make her dinner. We need someone to prep her for bed, watch a movie, companionship, maybe light meal prep, light housekeeping, dressing and grooming, maybe light transportation when needed.
Schedule is flexible and days off are flexible too, her son lives 5 minutes from her house so family can be there quickly if needed. Her son works a demanding job so the ideal candidate would be skilled, experienced, and a confident caretaker.
There is housing available next door, a 2 bdrm unit if helpful for the right caretaker.
