I am looking for a full-time, live-in caregiver for my wife. We live near Fraser, Colorado – a short distance from the Winter Park Ski Resort in Colorado. Your weekends are totally free and you are not obligated to stay although an expensive one-bedroom suite with a second full kitchen in the house is yours to live in free all year long so long as you are employed as a caregiver to my wife. Additionally, you will be compensated for 24 hours/day Mondays-Fridays even though you will only be working 8-10 hours most days; at a rate of $12.56/hour. • Bonus – season pass to Winter Park Ski resort if desired for personal use. • Meals can be provided as part of cooking done for my wife and myself. • The caregiver will NOT be required to use their vehicle during working hours for transportation related to the care of my wife. Vehicle will be provided. Provide care for my wife: • Administering medications; hydration reminders • General companionship with activity and engagement throughout the day • Ensuring my wife is dressed appropriately for indoor and outdoor activities. • Facilitating outdoor activities like daily walking the dogs, hiking, golfing, snowshoeing, or downhill skiing as long as she is able. • Transportation as needed for: - Local appointments, mail pick up at Post Office, and running errands - Driving to Denver 1-3 times / month (1.5 hr one way) for medical appointments • The caregiver needs to remain at the house 24 hours a day while I am away and then provide care during working weekday hours, 9:00-6:00, 5 days a week, when I am not traveling. Managing the home: • Meal planning, grocery shopping, cooking nutritious meals, serving meals, and kitchen cleanup. • Light housekeeping, laundry • Feeding, watering, and walking to two medium-size house dogs Optional responsibilities (additional compensation available) • Feeding wife’s horse twice a day on days that I am traveling
