🌟 Immediate ALS Caregiver Needed – Naples, FL – PEG, Transfers, Medication, Supplies 🌟 Start Date: June 11, 2025 Location: Naples, FL Compensation: Based on experience ⸻ Summary: Seeking a compassionate, experienced caregiver for a wheelchair-bound, PEG-fed Veteran with ALS. This is a full-time role requiring hands-on support: feeding, physical transfers, medication, and coordination of supplies and equipment. The prior nurse left abruptly after a safety issue, so we urgently need someone reliable, capable, and respectful who takes this role seriously. ⸻ Schedule: Full-time (40+ hrs/week), including mornings/evenings. Weekend and overnight availability preferred. Flexible shifts available for the right candidate. Live-in for the right candidate. ⸻ Key Duties: • PEG tube feeding and care • Safe transfers (wheelchair/Hoyer soon) • Medication management • Bathing, toileting, grooming • Supply & equipment coordination (gloves, nutrition, hospital bed, etc.) • Communicate with family and VA • Light housekeeping related to care ⸻ Required: • Experience with ALS, PEG, non-verbal patients • Skilled in transfers and medication schedules • Supply/equipment ordering or coordination • Able to assist an adult physically • Clean background; CPR certified ⸻ Preferred: • VA system familiarity • Knowledge of DME ordering • Fluent in English ⸻ To Apply: Reply with: • ALS or PEG experience • Availability (weekends/overnights too) • Comfort with supply coordination • References and credentials
