Need a reliable caregiver located near Melrose, FL to help care for Mother. I need support 4 days per week in the morning, afternoon, and evening. 25 hours per week of None is needed to start May 01, 2026. The activities of daily living performed by the caregiver will include bathing, dressing & grooming, toileting, transferring & mobility, companionship, meal prep, housekeeping, and transportation. Seeking a compassionate and reliable caregiver in the Ocala, FL area to assist with care for an adult male with significant cognitive and physical disabilities. The schedule is currently flexible as we determine the best fit, but will likely be 4–5 afternoons per week (approximately 12 PM–5 PM), but could turn into more hours into the future. The role primarily involves respite support for the father who is the primary caregiver, companionship and assisting with positioning and safety, especially helping him remain comfortably in bed during periods of restlessnes. Some days are very calm and low-demand, while others may require more frequent hands-on support. At times—particularly on more restless days—care can be very hands-on, involving frequent attention and repeated repositioning, sometimes in quick succession over extended periods. We’re seeking someone who is prepared for this and can provide consistent support, in particular to provide respite support for the primary caregiver. There are days where this repetitive repositioning happens for extended periods of time and then there are other days where he is very restful and this is not necessary. During quieter periods, light household tasks may be included. Over time, there may be opportunities to learn additional caregiving tasks such as mobility assistance and personal care. We are hoping to hire an individual that would like to work with us for the foreseeable future rather than a short term job. Training will be provided, and you will be working alongside a family caregiver in the home.
