Seeking a compassionate, vigilant female CNA or HHA for short daily split shifts assisting a 90-year-old mother in Maitland. Due to severe arthritis, she has limited mobility and is a documented fall risk. She uses a walker to get from her lift chair to the bathroom. While she uses a bidet independently (no wiping required), she cannot safely manage her undergarments, dress, or apply treatments. Top Priority – Skin Integrity: She has a history of open pressure sores from urinary incontinence. Keeping her clean, dry, and comfortable to prevent skin breakdown is the primary objective. We are looking for candidates living in/near Maitland or Altamonte Springs for an easy commute. We offer $30.00/hour due to the split-shift nature of the care. Schedule: Mon, Wed, Thu, Sat, Sun: Morning (1 hr) & Evening (1 hr). ; Tue & Fri: 1 hr, Evening ONLY - morning is covered. Open to one caregiver or splitting the schedule between two reliable individuals. Core Responsibilities: Fall Prevention: Standby supervision while she uses her walker to transfer and walk. Skin Care: Apply prescribed barrier creams/lotions and foam dressing if needed to private areas. Monitor skin for redness. Dressing & Incontinence Support: Assist with undergarments, ensuring she is dry and properly aligned in briefs. Assist with morning dressing. Bedtime Prep: Safely transfer her from walker to bed. Requirements: Female caregiver (client preference for personal care). Active CNA or HHA preferred (trained in safe transfers and skin integrity). Proven experience with pressure sore prevention and fall risk management. Location is near intersection of Maitland Blvd. / Maitland Ave. Clean background check and references required.
