Our father is 86 years old, is cognitive and walks with a walker. He is somewhat independent, however, needs daily and overnight attendance to go to the bathroom, to change his Depends briefs, and to shower (in the morning ) in case of falls or emergencies. He prefers a MALE caretaker to work (overnight) Responsibilities include regularly scheduled breakfast, lunch and dinner, showering, using toilet, shaving, dressing, getting into or out of a bed or chair, medication reminders, companionship .
