Looking For 2 Caregivers For Lovely Person in Kamuela, HI
We are in search of two considerate caregivers to take care of a lovely 90 year old woman, located near Kamuela, HI. We will be coming from California and are planning to stay in Hawai’i May 3rd - 31st. I (Lily) am her assistant and will be with her 5 days per week. We are looking for coverage overnight from 9pm-9am every night and two days a week, when I have my days off. Potentially additional short day shifts may be needed if I need to run errands.
The overnight shift will consist of administering medications, helping M find television or movie programs in the evenings, monitoring her through the night, and perhaps making a simple breakfast in the morning. M needs very little support throughout the night, and prefers her privacy when using the restroom. Our caregivers in California sleep lightly most of the night.
The day shifts will consist of administering vitamins, preparing and serving simple meals, walking to the beach and assisting M in the water, and driving her places if asked. You will use our car. She has several friends on the island who may want to take her to lunch or dinner and you are not expected to go with her.
