We need experienced (including with dementia patients), conscientious and compassionate care every other Saturday (with flexibility) to take care of 85yo mother in Brownsburg. Has advanced dementia. Gets out of bed for breakfast to walk; stays rest of time in bed. Is incontinent with an indwelling catheter; needs cleaning (in bed) after BMs. Assistance needed with taking medication. Other responsibilities: feeding her 3 meals, brushing her teeth (once a day), taking vitals, and light housekeeping. Prefer caregiver who is FEMALE, a non-smoker, and comfortable with pets (we have a small, friendly dog). Mom sleeps a lot, so time allowed for housekeeping. Although not required, would be nice to have assistance with my sister-in-law (60yo) who is a stroke survivor (partially paralyzed) with mild vascular dementia. Mobility assistance needed to bathroom (help with toileting, too) and to/from living room to bedroom. Brother, father, and myself also live in same house and are available to help when needed. We already have three other caregivers who work so that everyday of the week, except Sundays, we will have help. We need another caregiver to compliment their schedules.
