I am looking for help with after surgery care for myself on July 13th. I need transportation to Maine Plastic Surgery in the early morning from Scarborough and then transportation back to my rental after surgery. Most of the day will be waiting for me to get out of surgery. After my procedure I will need help getting back to my rental and getting comfortable but I don’t expect any help with bathroom or other. The next day I would need transportation back in the mid-morning to afternoon for my drain removal but most of this is transportation and help getting comfortable after surgery.

We are seeking a compassionate and dependable caregiver in Turner to assist a 71-year-old client recovering from knee replacement surgery on June 4. This is a one-day caregiving opportunity paying $23 per hour. The caregiver will be responsible for picking the client up after surgery, transporting him home, and staying overnight to provide support and companionship during recovery. Responsibilities include transportation assistance, mobility support, companionship, and ensuring the client is safe and comfortable while using a walker during the initial recovery period. The client weighs 157 lbs, is 5’8”, and has no pets, smoking concerns, or allergies in the home. We are looking for a reliable, attentive, and caring individual who is committed to providing respectful, high quality care during this important recovery period. Looking for a trustworthy, responsible caregiver to pick me up from surgery in Portland on July 15 and keep an eye on me for approximately 24 hours until the meds wear off. I do not live in Portland, so I would get a hotel room for myself with an adjoining room for the caregiver unless they prefer to have me stay at their house. There is no personal care involved, just picking me up from surgery and monitoring me. I will probably be sleeping most of the time, and if I get hungry, I will bring snacks along or pay to have something delivered. Pick up would be late morning or early afternoon. The surgery center requests someone be available for me for 24 hours and I'm fine paying hourly for 24 hours. I live in Lewiston, Maine.
