Looking to hire an enthusiastic, responsible, reliable and nurturing caregiver to take care of Mother-in-law, located near Gaines, MI. help is needed Tuesday morning, and Friday morning. I would like the caregiver to begin August 01, 2025 and estimate 10 per week. Indefinitely. Duties and responsibilities of the caregiver will include companionship, meal prep, housekeeping, transportation, bathing, grooming, toileting, and transferring & mobility. I’m looking for a kind, patient, and dependable caregiver to provide light support in my day-to-day life. I deal with depression, and sometimes it makes basic tasks feel overwhelming. Your role would be to offer gentle assistance, motivation, and companionship in a respectful and encouraging way. Responsibilities Include: Light cleaning and tidying around the home (dishes, sweeping, organizing, etc.) Providing encouragement and companionship during showering or bathing (no hands-on help needed unless comfortable – mainly moral support and presence) Occasional help with laundry or errands Support with staying on task or starting small daily routines Being a positive, understanding presence Ideal Qualities: Compassionate and non-judgmental Experience with mental health awareness or caregiving (preferred but not required) Good communicator and listener Reliable and trustworthy Comfortable with personal care settings (no medical care required) This role is best suited for someone who genuinely enjoys helping others and understands the value of emotional support alongside light physical assistance. Compensation and schedule are flexible and can be discussed to fit both our needs. Can also pay by Medicaid and maybe some other sources as well depending how much care I need.
