In search of a honest, reliable, and patient caregiver to take care of Father, located near Raleigh, NC. help is needed 4 days per week in the morning, afternoon, and evening. Caregiver should be able to start January 27, 2026 and is expected to work 15 hours per week. The primary duties of this caregiver will include: bathing, dressing & grooming, toileting, and transferring & mobility. All applicants will be considered. In search of a compassionate, reliable, and honest caregiver to support my mother, located near Raleigh, NC. This role is companion care and home helper support only, non-medical and non–hands-on. We value caregivers who are culturally aware, emotionally intelligent, and comfortable working with families from diverse backgrounds. Respectful communication, patience, and an understanding of family-centered care are important in our home. This is new for us, and some flexibility is needed as we learn and adjust to the caregiving dynamic together. Applicants who bring warmth, reliability, and a thoughtful presence to their work are especially encouraged to apply. The schedule is not yet fully fixed due to medical appointments. Ideally, we are seeking support for 2 days per week, approximately 1:00–6 PM, beginning February 3, 2026, for an estimated 10 hours per week. Cooking and meal preparation are a major priority. The caregiver will be responsible for planning and preparing fresh meals aligned with a special diet, maintaining a clean kitchen, and preparing some meals for later use. Additional responsibilities include companionship, light housekeeping, laundry, and transportation to errands and activities such as grocery shopping, park visits, pool exercise, church, and medical appointments. Light administrative support, such as calendar updates and bringing in mail, may also be included. My mother is ambulatory and independent, but has a fall risk. She does not require bathing, toileting, grooming, lifting, or mobility assistance; however, attentiveness, steady presence, and good situational awareness are important. Duties and schedule may evolve as needs change, and some flexibility is required.
