Need a enthusiastic, honest and reliable caregiver located near Ruidoso, NM to help care for Father. I am in need of assistance 7 days per week: We are coming to Ruidoso to stay in our vacation home and my father has in-home care everyday currently. He is 82 and has neuropathy so he is in a wheelchair and unable to stand. His upper body strength is also not great so he needs assistance transitioning in/out of the wheelchair. He also has a cathetar full time. We need a caregiver that can be available every day of our stay durin the following times: Preferred dates Sept. 5th (or 6th AM the latest) to Sept. 16th. Alternate dates are Sept. 12th to Sept. 23rd AM - 8:30am-10:30/11am PM - 6:30/6:45pm-9:30/10:30pm This is for temporary job but could become regular every 6-8 months when we visit. Expectation is to work 5-6 hours per day for the whole duration of care. Duties and responsibilities of the caregiver will general hygiene, physical therapy exercises, transferring & mobility (lifting is required), bathing (sponge bath), and dressing & grooming. Dedicated and serious applicants only. We can arrange directly if there is some adjustment to these hours that would fit someone's availability. He needs assistance in the morning with getting out of bed, getting dressed, basic hygiene (he can brush his teeth, etc.) and ready for the day. His night time assistance is getting undressed, potty chair, bathing (he is unable to stand or use a shower/tub) and transition into the bed. I can assist as well. He is 6'1" and 195lbs.
