Seeking a compassionate, dependable caregiver to assist my 77-year-old aunt in her home near Somers, NY, beginning October 17, 2026. Care is needed during morning and evening shifts, seven days per week. Responsibilities include companionship, meal preparation, light housekeeping, transportation, bathing, dressing, toileting, transfers, mobility assistance, and fall prevention. CNA, HHA, or similar caregiving experience is strongly preferred. My aunt is a proud lifelong New Yorker and retired elementary school teacher who is intelligent, mentally sharp, cognitively intact, and fully involved in decisions regarding her care. She has a wonderful sense of humor, enjoys meaningful conversation, and values kindness, professionalism, and reliability. As a former educator, she appreciates organization, punctuality, structure, consistency, and clear communication. She is independent, detail-oriented, and has high personal standards, making trust and mutual respect especially important. While she remains active and engaged mentally, she uses a walker and requires assistance with walking safely, transfers, bathing, and toileting. Preserving her dignity, independence, and quality of life is a top priority. We are seeking a caregiver who is warm, friendly, patient, confident, organized, and experienced supporting seniors with mobility limitations. We are looking for a licensed LPN to accompany our 4-year-old child to daycare/school in Jersey City. The main responsibility is to stay with the child during school hours and provide supervision and support as needed. Duties may occasionally include helping with feeding and diaper changes. Our child has a Broviac central line, but there is no TPN or IV infusion during school hours. The job is generally light and mainly involves accompanying the child at school and being available in case any medical issue arises. A current New Jersey LPN license is required. Pediatric experience is preferred, and experience with central lines/Broviac is a plus. Schedule: Monday through Friday, approximately 4–6 hours per day, depending on the child’s school schedule and adjustment.
