24-Hour Post-Op Recovery Assistant – Full Support Required
Seeking a proactive caregiver for a 24-hour shift following liposuction under conscious sedation. While not under general anesthesia, I will be taking Xanax and Oxycodone, resulting in a "loopy," non-rational state. I require a "sober mind" to take full charge of my safety, mobility, and recovery protocol while I am chemically incapacitated.
Responsibilities: You will provide all transportation and physical assistance with walking to prevent fainting (vasovagal episodes). You must supervise and time my mandatory post-op exercises to prevent blood clots and maintain a strict written log of all medications (Oxycodone, Xanax, antibiotics). Clinical tasks include managing heavy "tumescent drainage" by changing absorbent pads and ensuring I stay hydrated with electrolytes.
Requirements: Experience with heavy sedation/opioid management and assertive communication to ensure I follow protocols while groggy. Must have a reliable vehicle and the stamina for a 24-hour shift.
