I became a caregiver to not just help people but to care about them. In the homes I work for, several of my residents either don't have family or their families have abandoned them. When working with these individual's you learn theirs likes, dislikes, and moods. You begin to care for these individuals as more than clients, you become a part of their family, you become protective over them. I'm very proud of the level of comfort and trust my residents have with me. They know I'm here to take care of them and their well being. Not to boss them around or cause them harm. I have not been in this profession long, but I have always taken care of people. Friends, family, and sometimes strangers. I've had a series of ups and downs in my life, thankfully I have been lucky enough to have such a wonderful support system. I understand that not everybody is that fortunate, which is why I try to share my good fortune with others. I'm a 26 year old mother, who lives in Vacaville. I have reliable transportation and a very flexible schedule. I'm a honest kind hearted person, who knows from personal experience that life doesn't always go as planned, and sometimes you just need someone to care and help. First Aid certified.
