I'm a 36 year old wife and mother of 3 children. I have a long background in graphic design and even went on to get a master's degree in Advertising, but still felt something was missing from my life. I looked back over my life and realized the missing piece was need to be in a field where my love for people could be fully utilized. With this epiphany, I decided to go back to school to become a doctor. While I'm completing my pre-med requirements, I have been volunteering my time as a Girl Scout leader with a small Cadette troop, as an Awana leader for 5th/6th grade girls at Northside Baptist Church and at All Children's Hospital in the Child Life department. I am a registered CNA, level 2 Patient Care Technician certified and have taken additional courses such as medication management and elderly care. I have quite a bit of hands on experience caring for my own family members whether in the home, at doctor's appointments or the unfortunate hospital stay. I am very patient and enjoy helping others.
