About Linda

I was a one on one, working with the special needs(Cerebral Palsy) student in a high school classroom. Attending to their needs, going from 1 class to another, including feeding, work setup , (Only if they could write, if not I would write) toileting, cleanup and whatever was needed etc. I did this for 8 years, now, for the last 2 years I am back in a Inclusion classroom, where I first started working with special needs students, almost 10 years prior. I helped my siblings with the caregiving, when our parents was sick and passed on. When I was in high school I started helping 2 elderly ladies, who were our next door neighbors. I would pickup the grocery, and just keep them company after school. It was one of the best times of my life, listening to their stories, they always made me laugh. They made me forget that I was shy. That was the beginning for me, being around the an elderly person. Years later that's how I met my God mom, she moved into our basement, we hit it off right away. After I finished my chords, I would make pancakes and sausages, with coffee for us. Then I would cleanup, watch T.V., and chit chat with her. And today I still loved doing what I do, helping others, its always been who I am. It also has taught me to be a better person, and just maybe someone might do the same for me as get older.
