About Jacqueline

I have been a senior caregiver for 9 years and enjoy interacting with seniors. They have many life experiences to share and I enjoy listening to them as I work with in their homes. I first began working with seniors after helping my own parents through a difficult time in their lives when both were dealing with major medical issues. I like to cook, outdoor activities, animals, crafts and reading. I try to incorporate these things into working with seniors whenever the opportunity arises. My work experience covers being a companion aide to now a CNA, sitting with seniors for company, driving them to doctor appointments, grocery shopping, making meals, caring for pets while in their home, light housekeeping and reminding them of medication taking. I am middle-age, a college graduate, married with 3 adult children and 2 grandchildren. I recently received my Certified Nursing Assistant license (CNA). My belief in caring for others' loved ones as I would want my own parents to be cared for. I prefer non-smoking homes (get migranes) and I do well around pets ( no allergies).

Jackie is very good with my mother ensuring she is comfortable, drinking and eating and she engages her in puzzles and bird watching. I can always rely and trust her to follow the routine I have established for my mom but she also comes up with other suggestions as well. She is by far one of tre best caregivers I have worked with.
