    vent dependent trachea patients Wound care Emergency trained Personal care G-Tube Diabetes Transfers Shower/bathing I worked in a Adult Foster Home with 4 quadriplegic residents and 1 stroke resident. All 5 require trachea care as well as full dependent care. I pass all medications to residents. Each resident requires their own personal care plan. I prepare meals and feed residents that are unable to feed themselves while three residents are tube feeders. I take complete care of all their G-Tube care including medications. I am a lead caregiver delegated by the owner and RN of the facility. I communicate report by phone to the RN of the facility which requires excellent written and verbal communications skills. The RN allows me as a lead caregiver to be responsible for the care of her residents as she is not here daily. I have worked for this facility for a little over one year and have a great passion for working with people and their healthcare.
