I am a hugely compassionate person. My first clients were my mother, and my grandmother and poppa. It started as just helping out as a home care aid and evolved into a passion. It has been my mission to get my clients back the independence/self reliance that they want or need in some cases, and provide assistance with compassion and love for those clients that prove to have a more difficult time of it. What I have found i enjoy most aside from the feeling of fulfillment i get from helping when it comes to being a caregiver is the things I learn from my clients. Stories, life lessons, reminiscing moments... It's those times that gives me a window into the life and mind if the person I'm caring for and any time it happens I am deeply honored and overjoyed. I can't think of a specific achievement per se, but knowing that a few of my clients I've worked with have gained back a huge portion of their independence in my time working with them, that's a good thing to know.
