I began my interest in caregiving with my grandfather. He quickly progressed with Dementia and I wanted to be around him til the end of his time. I fell in love with helping and caring for him and carried on after he passed and have been doing this for 10 years. I enjoy knowing that I am someone people call when they or someone they love need some TLC. I truly love my job and the people I come into contact with while doing it. I am bubbly, kind, patient, pay attention to detail and like to give whatever I am attempting 100 percent. My hourly rate is negotiable and I am available any shift.

One of the things I'm most proud of is a time when i walked in on a resident at the nursing facilities where i worked and his countenance just didn't look right so i asked the resident was he ok. He said yes but i just didn't have peace about it,so i called the nurse. To my surprise, he was on the verge of having a stroke due to the fact that i went to check in on him saved his life in time. Its physically and mentally challenging on a loved one to always have to do everything and especially if their not trained or knowledgeable about what they need to do. Its honestly a full time job. These are people that have lived life and were once probably caring for someone else so now it's my turn to take care of them. I wanna show them they are still important and deserve to be cared for . I take care of each person with the joy and love as I did my very 1st client .. It still brings me so much happiness and just humbles me. I'm patient, I'm compassionate and very understanding. Most importantly I listen and talk with them. If they cant I will play music or read to them. I will bath them and change them if they are incontinent. My time with them Is just that. They have my full attention. It can be challenging and hard to trust someone with your loved ones. I vow to care for them professionally and compassionately.
