I spent several years taking care of my grandmother. Being the youngest of her first set of grand kids, it was odd that she insisted on living with me. So, of course I obliged. It took me a while to realize why she chose me; she saw something in me that I didn't see initially. Although, as time went on it became harder to care for her, it was also second nature to choose her over everything else. I learned a lot about myself. I wouldn't change that time in my life.
