I have found that my passion/calling is to care for the elderly and/or individuals, who can't do so for themselves. My heart is overwhelmed with genuine happiness when providing care and/or maintaining a personal relationship with each resident, client, and/or patient. I sincerely love fulfilling my heart's desires & passion by providing care, love, companionship, friendship, and even medical care to individuals; resulting in them having a sense of peace, as they go through life changes and having to deal with situations that may be unfamiliar. I find that doing so & providing the utmost respectful care to each of them, brings forth a growth for even myself, as I continue my education into becoming an RN (later to bridge into Nurse Practitioner). Daily, I am seeking the latest knowledge and skill so hopefully I can improve my care traits daily, to a wider/higher demand of clients. I am most definitely proud of a personal achievement in my life pertaining to my husband (who was diagnosed with late stages of Testicular cancer twice)! After receiving a prognosis of 18 months, I decided to further my education & resources, in hopes to find more options....and I did! After nearly 2 years, he is now in remission & cancer-free! This is not to boast about what I did, but instead the 'determination, drive, & passion', that I was blessed with. I will ALWAYS go above & beyond in providing the best care for clients & their family members! I believe there is always room for growth and in order to do so, you must first humble yourself to what you were called to do, whatever that may be!

What attracted me to the role of a caregiver is the profound impact it has on people's lives. Knowing that I can make a positive difference, providing support, comfort, and companionship to individuals who require assistance, is what motivates me every day. What I enjoy most about being a caregiver is the opportunity to form meaningful connections with those I care for. Building trust and rapport with my clients and their families is incredibly rewarding, and it makes the caregiving experience fulfilling. A personal achievement I am particularly proud of is when I helped care for my great grandmother when I was only 13 years old. This experience is when I found out that I really enjoy being a caregiver and demonstrated my commitment to ensuring the highest quality of care and fostering a sense of well-being for the individuals under my care.
