My first caregiving job was with my two kids and my husband. I always made sure that they were taken care of. I also helped take care of both of my grandparents that raised me. I started working in the medical field when my kids started school. I worked as a phelobotomist for 12 yrs, lab asstant and a small doctors office as a nurse, and ran the lab. My husband had major back surgery in 2007 and I had to quit work and take care of him. When he got better I stayed with stage 4 bone cancer lady, bed rest until she passed. I have stayed with 5 others plus my mom that lived with us. I love being able to help people that need help. I have always done more that I was asked, that is just me. When I see something that needs to be done I will ask first and then do. All the people I have taken care of through the years have passed away. I have tried a few others jobs but this is what I want to go back to. Helping people is what I am good at.
