My name is Tia Brown, I am currently attending Virginia College in Montgomery, Al where I am studying to become a RN. I have a great bit of experience, however I am willing to broaden my experience by choosing to work as a caregiver until I earn my degree. I am a kind, loving, respectable, and honest person. I enjoy helping others, especially the elderly. I am attracted to being a caregiver because when I was younger my mom worked as a hospice nurse, and to look at that smile she put on the patient's face warmed my heart and pushed me to want to have that same impact on someone else. The thing I enjoy the most about being a caregiver is being able to sit and talk with my patients, especially when they're lonely. I enjoy making them feel good about themselves, and most of all, I enjoy being the person that could make them happy. The biggest personal achievement that I am proud of is making it this far into the nursing program. In the past I've doubted myself, but knowing my passion, I continued to push and I'm almost there.
