I am moving to Pensacola Fl. In March 2022. I currently live in Covington Louisiana . I chose to work with caregiving because I saw a very big gap in individual affordable care for the special ability clientele. I began working with adults through the ARK dayhab available through Easter Seals then I started working with clients individually to give them individual care. I began working with clients individual and have worked for the past four years ! We do crafts, bowling, dances, Volenteer. My job keeps participants active, safe and happy! I teach self care every day and remind medication. I work part time teaching at Cullinary Kids with an all ability class consisting of 16 participants. I have enjoyed doing personal care and culinary service for over five years! I have seen the true success in the development of our special abilities adult community while merging the able community working alongside . Many of my participants live independently and work in our community! I volunteer at First Baptist ( Special Friends Class) I love seeing participants excited about their activities their accomplishments and their abilities. I enjoy challenges and success each day is a blessing and I love to share my enthusiasm.
