Hello. My name is LAKRYSTAL WHITMON. I am a professional caregiver with over 20 years of ecperience. I began taking care of my mother at age 18. I am now 45. This profession is near and dear to my heart because I have always had the love to care for others, especially elderly people. I will be sure to treat your love one as my very own by giving them love, respect, and compassion so their dignity can remain intact. I have experience working with Dementia, Parkinson, Bedbound and Stroke patients. My experience includes personal care such as baths, getting dressed, grooming( combing hair , no nail clipping). I am also able to help with meal preps, light housekeeping, as well as transfers from bed to chair and chair to bed. Also, I can help transfer from bed to bedside toliet. I like to help the individual gain whatever independence they are lacking. This is done by working closely with individual recognizing their strengths and weaknesses. I will help build on their strengths and help improve their weakness so they can gain confidence in their own ability.
