My name is SharonAshley, I am 29 years old, and have been an in-home private caregiver going on 10 years now. I am a very friendly, outgoing person. I absolutely love elderly patients and enjoy getting to spend time with them and getting to know them. I have my own reliable transportation and am willing to run errands/ do house keeping/ cooking or whatever they need help with. My father got diagnosed with cerebellar ataxia when I was younger and it really led me to be in this field, i watched many caregivers with him that werent in it for the right reasons and it made me want to be the person that these people need in their lives and to treat them how they should be treated. My grandmother sat with elderly clients that had alzheimers and dementia my whole life and I looked up to her so much. She got diagnosed with Parkinson's and dementia about 6 years ago and I spent those 6 years caring for her, she has since passed and I truly miss her and the job caring for her.
