My name is Morgan Wheeley Langley. I recently got married on October 5th, 2019 as well as moved from Mebane, North Carolina to Wedowee, Alabama. I am on the Nurse Aid 1 Registry in NC to provide for the elderly. In addition I also have my Basic Life Support Provider Card from the American Heart Association. My dream / goal for my career within the medical field is to get my Registered Nurse Licensure from Southern Union State Community College as well as to continue on my education to earn a BSN at Auburn. Elderly people are some of the sweetest, most delightful people to work with and be around. I had the pleasure of helping to take care of my grandmother this past February through March as her health went down hill and soon went to be with the Lord late March. As I transition from a new State, a new job, and hopefully starting back to school next year I would like to become a caregiver because my family went through an immense amount of debt and heartache keeping my grandmother in the hospital, rehabilitation nursing home, and then hospice all within the span of two months. Throughout all of that she never wanted to be alone, she always wanted to have a family member right there beside of her. Her ultimate wish would've been to pass away peacefully in the safeness of her own home, however given all the circumstances that was not possible financially. I am passionate about being a caregiver because I want to give another family what mine did not have during an extremely hard time. I'm a very compassionate, respectful, and hard working person and I would love the opportunity to take care of your loved one as I would care for mine. Thanks, Morgan Wheeley Langley

In 2009 my mother became sick it took us 3 years to finally get a diagnosis. In that time I took care of her 3 years later we found out she had Parkinson's disease and multiple sclerosis. I moved her in with me and took care of her 24 hours a day she past away 4 months later and I have felt that being able to help someone is my calling. It warms my heart to make someone's day. Thru the journey with my mom I learned a lot from hospice.
