I am Nikita Crew from Covington, GA. I am 21 years old. I have worked in Customer Service for 3 years. I am a Home Health Aide for CareLinx, and I provide health care services in patients residences, perform domestic and household tasks, transport and accompany patients to doctors office or to hospital, administer simple prescribed medications, assist with clients personal care activities, and general health care needs. I live inAnniston, Al and love walking, yoga, and reading when I am free. I am currently in college obtaining my Bachelor of Science in psychology at Liberty University. I look forward to working with many families and taking care of many patients thank you for the opportunity in advance.

I think I am a great care giver because its a passion of mine to help and seeing the smile on my patients face makes my world brighten. My grandmother had open heart surgery and I was terrified as I was close to her, her wound got infected and had to have a secondary surgery to correct the infection. In that time I learned how to give bed bathes, packing wounds and managing her medications for diabetes and antibiotics and blood pressure. I lived with her for a year until she was able to do things on her own. Along with all the surgeries came dementia and Alzheimer's. I pride myself on doing my best and making someone welcomed and they have a friend in me. Hearing the stories and learning names is a wonderful part of this experience. I get to make memories and hear stories as well as conversations with amazing patients and people

I have been a certified nursing assistant since 1993. I have worked in nursing homes, home health and hospice. I currently work as a caretaker for a couple in Sylacauga. I feel that I am very compassionate about my work. I love my patients and families. I do tend to get attached some because I genuinely care about my patients and their well being. I love being able to help people. I honestly didn't know what I was getting into when I was 20 years old but after over 20 years I wouldn't trade it for anything. I have always been told that I was in the right field of work. I have always had great reviews and compliments from my patients and their families.
