I also have lots of experience working with elderly that dont have dementia or any other memory impairments. I became a caregiver because I took care of my old mother that needed help and couldn't care for herself people came in my house and did not give my mother the cares that she needed and I felt so sorry for her so I had to leave one of my job to help her. 2. Being a caregiver I like helping older people meet their needs helping them reach their goals and seeing smiles on their faces.My personal achievement that I am proud of when I go to work and I make my resident smile and they know that they have someone every day to look up to that make them to feel they are love and care for.
