Making a difference in people's lives has been a passion of mine. My family owned a Nursing Home/Home for the Aged for 36 years. This is were my passion for taken care of people was instilled in me. I worked as a caregiver, cook and handled recreation programs for our residents. Throughout the years I worked for Connecticut Hospice, The Alzheimer's Resource Center, and as a Private Caregiver for children and adults. I had the honor of caring for my Dad and both my Grandmother who all had Alzheimer's. There are many types of Dementia. Training and knowledge is important to understanding the needs of your love ones and clients you care for. This past December I completed training courses for The National Caregiver Certification Program, Understanding Alzheimer's and Dementia and 10 Warning Signs of Alzheimer's. These certification courses provided me with new ways to communicate with Dementia clients. I make sure the things that are most important to my client are done every shift. This is achieved by asking your priorities, then once they're completed if time allows I do my best to tackle the non-priorities. Compassionate, reliable, punctual, treating everyone with dignity and respect are values I live by.

With four years of dedicated experience as a caregiver, I have honed my passion for providing exceptional care and service to individuals and families in need. This commitment extends to wherever I work, with the unwavering belief that every customer or patient deserves the very best care and attention. What makes me a great caregiver is my inability to give up. I will push until my patient receives the proper treatment and is fully satisfied. I love working as a caregiver making sure my client has comfort when no one else is around and they always have a smile until their no longer requesting my service. I got into this field with my own experience dealing with my grandmother who died from Alzheimer's it was really hard not being able to speak up for her and make her feel more comfortable so I vowed to speak up for those in need and make sure to never fail them.

I am caring, considerate and an empath. What I do aligns perfectly with my personality traits which makes me a natural, and that's why I love it. I have over 4 years of experience in care giving and I loved every year, I enjoy what I do because I get to see life from a different perspective, I get to be someone's eyes, assistant and helper. I love that I get up everyday and be someone trustworthy and safe to be around. I love seeing people happy, well taken care of and feeling safe and I make an effort to bring that to my clients every time I show up. My greatest achievement in life is knowing that ever since I started this line of work, no family ever regretted choosing me. The families were so happy with me and being able to bring that kind of feeling to people is special.

Hello My name is Vantaysha ! I've been a caregiver for over 5 years now . I jumped into this field due to the lost of my grandfather who was also my bestfriend. He passed away in a nursing home and I wanted to make a change in this field . Doing that would be bringing my upbeat energy . Im also very outgoing, friendly, compassionate, empathetic, reliable, and most of all uplifting . My goal to make my patients feel comfortable and at peace with my help during their journeys.

I'm a caring loving person who loves to see others happy and content as well as comfortable.
