I've been a caregiver for 15 years now I'm in school to get my doctrines degree as a nurse practitioner. What attracts me of being a caregiver I care about taking care of others not only that it lets me take care of others, but I get to know how to take care of myself and my family and friends I enjoy the conversations I have with my clients. I'm proud of pursuing my education even further.

I believe in delivering quality of life for seniors and clients of any age! Showing compassion through sincere listening and being present for the clients I care for is a top priority. Through home visits with various agencies, live-in care, and working with an Assisted Living Center my combined services to the elderly have helped me thrive in the industry of caring. In the realm of younger folks, I drove a school bus for years and taught home schooled children including my own. I taught a class on self-empowerment based on the Chicken Soup for the Soul book series too. The classes I taught were an eye-opener and perhaps opened the door to a new way of viewing life. The life experiences I've had with Seniors who have become family to me and ultimately my friends has given me much more than I could have possibly conceived of giving to them! I found that with kids, being present and seeing the beautiful gifts they have inside always brought those gifts out with the acknowledgement. The services I've provided are most assuredly a soul's calling! Senior care and working with younger folks has been a perfect fit with my desire to make a difference with others, and the kind of career I totally enjoy! I have a knack for understanding human nature and the needs of the heart and naturally, I learned this through my own life experiences. We all are truly one when it comes to matters of the heart and what this life means! Applying the knowledge of our oneness is what the care of others is all about. I'm seeing my own reflection in the hearts of those that I serve in this type of work. From that seeing, I give the best of who I am to others! Importantlly too is the fact that I am CPR and First Aid Certified and have over 20 years experience caring for Seniors.

I became a caregiver because i like working with people and making a difference to their lives. I really enjoy being a caregiver a job that your able to make a difference in a clients everyday living. a relationship you just cant explain with your client or patient depends on level of care. I became a can in 1991 lookin for a different career path then . worked in nursing rehabilitation home for 3 years learned so much . I did work in for agencies for in home visits as well for the next 7 years. I continued my education in Georgia to become a cma certified medical assistant. I have recently taken a can course at Cumberland health center . recertified can cpr/ first aid .

Becoming a caregiver has been my pride and joy. What I enjoy most about being a caregiver is helping others. One of My most personal achievements has been becoming a Certified Nursing Assistant. I enjoy taking my clients out on social outings, grocery shopping, lunch, errands, etc. I Am also able to provide dependable transportation to and from doctor appointments. I have experience in being an advocate for my clients at doctor appointments. I can fill in the gaps between the Doctor My client and family members in regards to communication and Care plan. My name is Bless, I've been in Senior Care for the pass 4 years. I was raised by my grandfather he is now 85 and healthy, I have a passion for helping and caring for my elders. Although I am In my last year in college to complete my Psychology Degree, I enjoy the fact that the education knowledge I've gained always come hand in hand with working with my patience.
