Hi my name is Mindy! I am a mother of 4 beautiful girls ages 19 to 7 and I am a grandma of a spunky 2 year old little girl! I completed my cna in 2010 and started my career. I went to In home services because it is more personal time to spend and 1 on 1 . my main focus is the individual I am assisting. I continue online courses and love what I do! I have taken care of some family members especially my own great grandma whom I loved so much. And she taught me that my calling was to do 1 on 1. My personality traits that help me be a better caregiver is that I am a very good listener. I always lend a hand to those who need it. I understand we're all humans and we need the same amount of care and or love as everyone else. Makes your residents feel good about getting help. Something that attracted me to being a caregiver is that I love people and I love building connections with them and helping them out. I just love to help people. A little about me i graduated from Hoover High School in Des Moines in 2018.I currently attend Des Moines Area Community College and will be graduating in May with a certification and AAS in Early Childhood Education. I have been working as a Certified Nurse Aide since 2018 and love meeting new people and learning about the things they enjoy most and being able to help be there and care for them.
