I have worked in health care for over 10 years. I am currently in school to get my LVN, I am punctual.

I'm a good listener, a hard worker, I'm a deep cleaner and you can depend on me! I love being a care giver because I get along better with my elders and they are all usually very kind and sweet. One achievement that I am proud of is that I've worked at doing care giving ever since the late nineties. I've been a caregiver since I was 19 and now I'm 44. I have worked in the healthcare most of my life. I became a DSP around 2003-2004 I loved it so much that I went and got my CNA license nursing homes for a few years. But then decided to take time off to take care of my children. Not realizing that I let my CNA license expire. So I went back to the thing that I love my DSP job at Glenbrook in Vienna , where I knew and loved everyone there. But I decided to dip my hand into the cooking career got my certifications and have been doing that ever since. I am energetic and hard-working. I put my everything into what I do and their isn't anything that I can't accomplish when I put my mind to it . Cook DSP, CNA , mother , bestfriend, daughter I've pretty much live the life of a caregiver this is my life and I love every min I will continue to do for as long as I can. I have 8 years of Geriatric Care in Nursing homes, Assisted living facilities and in home care. I enjoy helping others and will continue my education to become a nurse practitioner and be able to provide health care to various ages of life through my career.

I am a very loving and caring individual, I love what I do as far as career wise, I started out as a DSP(direct support professional) in 2009 and since I've been working with individuals with disabilities, in-home health, and now Monday-Friday I work at a school. I just love being around people and being able to help out.

I am caring, understanding, outgoing, social, and I like to make things fun! I also have a lot of experience in being a caregiver, as I was my mother's caregiver for many years. I love being able to have a close or one on one relationship with the ones I care for. My first personal achievement would be passing my CNA class. My next will be passing the state exam.

My name is Alexis Vojvodich. I go by "Lexi". I took a job at Addus home care is what stole my heart and let me know that helping the elderly live a well life was my passion. I worked there for a year and i workd at Reflections Memory Care at the same time. I loved my clients/residents so much. I absolutely love getting to grow close and share my life with clients and I love that I get to help them live. Most elderly raised a family their selves, being a caregiver I feel like it is what they deserve, which is getting taken care of, just like they did their families. The achievement i am most proud of is getting the experience of helping with Addus and Reflections so that I will be able to care for the people that raised me to the best of my ability. The money isn't what draws me to this job, it is getting to show people that they are loved and getting to help.
