Hello! My name is Andrea, you may also call me Andy (for short) I've been a CNA since 2008. What's helped me enjoy my career more than anything is my residents & families. I consider everyone I have got the pleasure of taking care of like extra grandparents and I couldn't thank their families enough for sharing them with me. I've been trained & also have worked with Alzheimer's, & dementia. My grandmother whom I took care of for a couple years also had this disease. I've been trained on hoyer lifts many times. Also I've been educated on puree foods, thicken liquids & mechanical soft. I have a family of 2 of which I absolutely adore. My 13 yr old son & 1 yr old little girl. They keep me busy when I'm not working our summers consist of baseball games, swimming & learning something new everyday.

I have been a CNA for 4 years, I personally find a lot of purpose in being a CNA. Every since I got certified this is all I have done since because I truly enjoy what I do.

I enjoy making my residents smile, I try to brighten everyone's day and be a companion to all. My mom has worked in the Healthcare field since I was little and I also knew I wanted to do the same. I enjoy almost everything about my job. I love fixing all of my ladies hair or helping them pick clothes out and painting their finger nails. I enjoy hearing all of their stories. I started working with patients in 2015 and completely fell in love with taking care of others. I have never worked a job where healthcare wasn't involved.
