I have been in healthcare for awhile now. I've worked with dementia patients, hospice patients, and most diseases or disabilities you can think of. Healthcare and assisting people in general has been what I've wanted to do since I was a child and I'm now fulfilling that dream. Taking care of those who once took care of us! My name is Margaret and Id like to tell you a little about myself. I've always been the type that enjoys helping others. I found it rewarding for the heart and soul. It really takes someone special to become a caregiver. Someone with a big heart who understands the trials and tribulations of someone who needs help in their daily lives. That can help through the good days and the bad days. At a young age my mother became ill and that's when I started to learn about caregiving. How to talk to someone who's having a hard time accepting help that's needed. How to bath and wash. Bathroom duties. Communication through all the things I do. I find it that talking to a client and really getting to know that person makes a major difference in how to handle their life with them. I'm not here to treat anyone like a dollar sign. I want to help make a difference or help ease the frustration of life as it comes. One of my proudest achievements in my life is finding God. And being a proud mother of two wonderful boys.
