I am hard working ,independent , self driven, detail oriented, self motivated, organized, clean, and cheerful person! I have been a caregiver for a little over 5 years, I love helping others with day to day life skills and needs I always knew I wanted to help people and once I finally started to I knew I never wanted it to end! Helping others makes me feel so much joy just knowing that the person is being properly cared for. I love getting to know each an every person I get the pleasure of working with. Hi my name is Ayla Campos. Some traits that make me a great caregiver are that I'm beyond caring and focused on helping people with their everyday needs. It's definitely one of the most rewarding jobs I've had. I've known since I was little that I wanted to do anything that helped others. I've always loved being there and helping others.

I'm a very loving and kind hearted person and very patient. When I was 18 years old, my grandma got sick and none of my siblings would take care of her so I pretty much had to do everything for her and that's what Attracted me to being a caregiver plus I love the smile it put on someone's face when you make their day... something I am proud of is buying my very first home at the age of 20...

I love to listen and engage in conversation, learning new things is my favorite thing to do! My mom always worked in healthcare, I knew I wanted to follow her foot steps. It's very rewarding to not only myself but those I care for! The bond with people you make, someone caring for you as you do them. A personal achievement I am proud of is just being in this line of work!

I have been in healthcare for awhile now. I've worked with dementia patients, hospice patients, and most diseases or disabilities you can think of. Healthcare and assisting people in general has been what I've wanted to do since I was a child and I'm now fulfilling that dream. Taking care of those who once took care of us! I enjoy being a caregiver because knowing the fact that I can make someone's life a little easier by assisting them with simple tasks makes me feel so much joy. I truly love what I do.

During my childhood years, caring for my elderly grandparents was a part of my everyday life. They had several health issues and were in and out of hospitals frequently. I was exposed to caregivers in many different settings. The impact that kind, compassionate and informative care-giving made all the difference to me and my family. At the age of 12, I knew nursing was what I wanted to do with my life. As I pursued nursing, I started out caring for patients in a nursing home as a nursing assistant. I loved this, as I got to care for clients, just like my grandparents. The opportunity to establish connections with clients week-to-week was special! After nursing school, I moved to caring for patients in a hospital setting as a Registered Nurse. The hospital experiences have given me a broad scope of skills, whether it is assisting patients with basic self-care needs, changing dressings, managing ventilators or providing education, being able to establish a rapport with patients and their family's is still one of the favorite parts of my job. I love being able to help people understand what is going on with their health and their treatment plan. Just as others demonstrated to my own family, I want each of my clients and their family members to feel safe, cared for and heard.
