Hello! My favorite thing about being a caregiver is meeting new people and being able to help as many people as I can! I am very patient, caring and work very well with others. I love being apart of watching people grow and regain their spark!

I have 5 plus experience as a caregiver. I started out working with individuals with developmental disabilities and eventually got my home health certification. I have a passion for assisting individuals especially if it means keeping them in their homes for as long as possible.

I offer a broad range of services that can be tailored to meet your family's unique needs and preferences. While the tasks of each service might differ, the goal for all types of care remains the same: To enhance the lives of seniors and their families. I help seniors cope with their condition while maximizing their capabilities I can help meet a variety of care needs related to Alzheimer's disease, dementia, arthritis, Parkinson's, diabetes, depression, and other conditions. I have over 10 yrs of experience caring for seniors and their families. I have provide the highest quality of care--the kind of care we would want for our own parents, spouse or grandparents. Here are some basic caregiver job responsibilities: Change linens and make beds Prepare and plan meals (including clean-up) Help with walking and light exercise Plan ahead for future meals, check expiration dates on food Do laundry (may include light ironing) Light housekeeping duties (such as vacuuming and dusting) Assist with dressing, grooming and bathing Take out the trash Run small errands (pick up prescriptions, go to the bank, etc.) Remind when to take medications Engage in mental and physical exercises Escort to appointments (doctor, physical therapy, hair salon, etc.) Organize mail and maintain a schedule/calendar Escort to religious services Engage in regular activities (talking, games, etc.) Provide companionship Record daily care notes Make note of any significant changes in the client to the agency/service

I went to Ivy Tech to get my Cna license so I could work as a home health aide. I've enjoyed helping people stay in there home. I have a great attention to detail. I'm very proud that I was with the same company for 12yrs. My biggest achievement has been venturing into private care and learning new skills . most people enjoy talking to me and feel at ease when I'm working with them .

I GENUINELY LOVE THE HEALTH FEILD AND TAKING CARE OF PATIENTS. I HAVE HELPED MY FAMILY TO TAKE CARE OF OTHER FAMILY MEMBERS AND FRIENDS SINCE I WAS YOUNG AND STILL DO SO TO THIS DAY. I PRIDE MYSELF IN HELPING OTHERS THAT ARE LESS FORTUNATE THAN ME BECASUE YOU NEVER KNOW WHEN YOU YOURSELF MAY BE IN THE SAME SITUATION. I BELIEVE THAT WITH MY YEARS OF EXPERIENCE, MY COMPASSION, MY TEAMWORK SKILLS AND MY PROBLEM SOLVING SKILLS THAT I WOULD BE AN ASSET TO YOUR FACILITY AND YOUR PATIENTS.

I became a CNA because one day I hope to achieve my goal in becoming a Registered Nurse. The one thing I love about being a caregiver is that I get to help people who cannot help themselves any longer. There is just something about it that makes me feel amazing at my job! I'm proud of myself for being able to do this job as a caregiver because not a lot of people can handle all of the work and some of the stress (emotion & physical) that come with the job as a caregiver. I'm 24 years old. I've been a CNA for 3 1/2 years and I've loved every day of it! I have 2 children that I raise daily to be responsible adults one day. My family is everything to me & so is my job!

I became a caregiver because I love to help other people. I feel as if I can give back to somebody who absolutely needs it. I am proud of the work I do. I feel as long as my clients are happy then im happy. I have been a cna for about 2 1/2 years now. I am looking forward to going back to school to become a registered nurse.
