Hello! As you can see my name is Amy, I am of mom of two little girls and we just recently moved out here to the Bloomington area. I have been a CNA for 4 years, I personally find a lot of purpose in being a CNA. Every since I got certified this is all I have done since because I truly enjoy what I do.

I enjoy making my residents smile, I try to brighten everyone's day and be a companion to all. My mom has worked in the Healthcare field since I was little and I also knew I wanted to do the same. I enjoy almost everything about my job. I love fixing all of my ladies hair or helping them pick clothes out and painting their finger nails. I enjoy hearing all of their stories. I am very outgoing and my personality is large. I love to socialize with the client and make jokes to make them smile. I enjoy being a companion and friend they can count on when their family is not there so they are not alone! I'm proud of having many residents until the last day of their life to may a long lasting impact, knowing they could always count on me and I stuck around until the very end!

I started working with patients in 2015 and completely fell in love with taking care of others. I have never worked a job where healthcare wasn't involved. I genuinely enjoy helping other live their best life. I love working with people from infancy to elderly and everything in between. I am compassionate and treat others the way I would want a caregiver to treat my family member.

When I was younger I worked each summer at a Nursing home and loved it, now that I have a child raised and settled in life more I would love to get back into it...I have always been in retail or manufacturing jobs, now I would like to try something rewarding again.I do care for an ill family member now .
