There is a certain part of my heart that fills with joy when I am able to make a difference in someone's life. I believe empathy, patience, kindness and respect make the perfect mix. Hello! I am a 21 year old caregiver born and raised in Danville, Kentucky! I am a mother to a 1 year old as well as a nursing student. I will be finished with nursing school in June of 2024. Growing up , my father was always hospitalized due to heart complications which introduced me into nursing , and I consider it 2nd nature. My favorite part of caregiving is helping and giving to others as well as forming new bonds with my clients.

I enjoy helping people I have empathy my first experience was with my father who passed away with cancer from the time he was diagnosed he only lived seven months but I learned alot and very quickly with no experience @ the age of twenty years old I also had my brothers I had cooking cleaning bathing him in bed . Before my father my mother fell and broke her lower leg both bones she had a cast on all the way up her whole leg I was only 13 I had to learn how to change sheets on a bed while she was still in it I had to learned how to help get her up and ger get in a wheel chair I had to bathe her in bed & I also had to learn how to help her use a bed pan I did all the cooking and cleaning taking care of my brothers& also go to school also my middle child was born with autism so I feel like I can understand and know how to handle any situation with ant person I helped my son be independent enough he lives and thrives on his own to this very day that was my greatest achievement . I enjoy people but I most enjoyment is being able to help make each day in a persons life much easier

I am a mother of 4 (lord do they keep me busy) I love being a caregiver. I've been a CNA for 10 years now and I admire elderly people. I realized that this was my career choice once I sat and held many elderly hands and became their family. The bonds are sometimes short lived but they are worth it. I'm a talker and I love laughing. I can't go a day without making someone else smile, no matter how I'm feeling. I am the live definition of a people person.!
