I have been a Director of a care facility for the past 10 years. I have enjoyed a lifetime of providing person centered care when needed. I enjoy spending my life caring for others and I enjoy how full my life is to have so many wonderful people in my life. I work well with a variety of people. I do a through job of provided hands on personal care as well as doing brain engaging activities.

Hello my name is Jessica May I am 48 years old and I am married and have been for 31 years and I have lived in Morehead Ky my whole life. I have been doing senior care/Adults with Disabilities for around 20 years. I took care of my grandmother for 5 years she was diagnosed with Alzheimer's. I took care of my dad for 3 yrs he had lung cancer. I have worked at Rescare for 12 years. I love working with seniors and people of all ages with disabilities and that's what I plan to do for the rest of my life because I enjoy learning and helping people cope with any trouble that they may be having or just trying to cope with daily living.

I have been a C.N.A and or caregiver for about 15 years off and on. I have done in home care, assisted living, and long term care in a skilled facility. I became a nursing assistant in June of 2004. Following my mothers footsteps, (she is a RN) I love to take care of the eldery.. It gives me a sense of well being knowing I can make them smile, by taking the up most care of them. I'm a single mother of three beautiful girls, and I love to swim, hike, and ride bikes with them! I'm full of energy, (as it would take to keep up with my girls) and l love to do my very best at whatever I do to help make my house a home and provide for my kids!

Helping others is something I've always enjoyed. I had some great patients when I lived in Louisville as many others. However, they became like family to me. I would do random things such as; picked up a cake just bc as the cake even said "just bc I love you all, love awesome" (awesome was my nickname from my patients so my job even changed my badge to AKA awesome) there's been many things I've done just bc I genuinely love and care about all my patients. I would work my 12hr shift with the main patients then get off and go fill in for another patient anywhere from 4-6 hrs leaving not much sleep before heading back at 8p-8am. Typically I worked crazy Monday-Friday morning and I was off until Monday again. The reason he is bc I was the main one who was always called for any fill ins during those days etc and would go do them. So Monday -Friday I worked 8p-8am then if anything else needed done I would do so. I love what I do! Obviously it's not for the money however yes, we all have to make an honest living so why not do what u love. I'm very outgoing, ambitious, love to talk, listen, create memories, show love, support and comfort. I truly enjoy what I do. I was also in our first news letter at my old job it was awesome feeling.
