Growing up my mom had Lucas and I remember always wanting to help her. Even though she didn't ask I can remember feeling like a super hero when I helped her. She was my Hero. She has always been in the business of caring for others. First as a CNA, for most of my young life. And then a an activies coordinator. So it's been a life long experience for me. Myself I have been a CNA, and now a caregiver believe in values, Dependability, and Honesty. I treat my clients how I would want some one to treat a family member of mine. I am a very friendly down to earth women of 61 years young. I have a vast array of professional experiences from recovering patients straight from the operating room that have had open heart surgery to caring for newborns. I had to retire in 2004 because I became very ill with lymphedema and a very painful bladder disease called interstitial cystitis. Being severely ill has made me even more caring and compassionate for anyone suffering from any illness. I like to incorporate family into my patient care as much or as little as the family member is comfortable. I believe that God allowed me to become ill so that I could become a very compassionate care giver. I actually CARE for my patients.
